FAQ The Waverly Community House serves as a premier center for volunteerism in the region. We offer volunteer opportunities for young and old, to suit every schedule, talent and interest. Many of our volunteers have served the community most of their adults lives – doing everything from helping mail Holiday Dance invitations to chairing a major event. The Comm is proud of its tradition of instilling a sense of civic responsibility in our youth, many of whom enthusiastically continue their volunteer work in other venues and regions as they mature. The Comm is always in need of volunteers. Please consider the following opportunities: Family
Fun Committee is looking for volunteers. If you are

Special Activities and Programs
The Comm hosts at least three major fundraiser's each year: The Antique Show in the Fall, The Artisan’s Marketplace in late November and the House and Garden Show in the Spring. There are dozens of volunteer opportunities for each show. If you would like to help with a luncheon, sell tickets, assist with publicity or advertising, or even chair or co-chair an event, call the Comm at 586-8191 ext.
5 for further information. This is a wonderful way to involve yourself in the Comm and the community. The Comm also hosts a number of events, such as
various children's workshops and parties.
The Family Fun Committee organizes and hosts the Comm’s programs and events. This committee meets to organize the annual Halloween Party, Breakfast with Santa and the annual Easter Egg Hunt and Breakfast as well as Family Movie Night and a Valentine’s Day workshop. This is a dynamic group of volunteers who work together throughout the year to benefit the children and families in the area. It continues to attract members with each successful event.
Student Volunteer Registry
The Waverly Community House serves as a safe and familiar venue for area students to pursue community service, whether for school, church ,scouting or simply the experience of helping others. The Executive Director will furnish your student with the necessary paperwork or recommendation upon completion of service. If your student needs volunteer hours or is interested in helping with a particular event, please fill out the
Student Registry Registration and mail or deliver to the Comm.
The Student Volunteer Registry makes it easy for students and youth leaders to find and complete volunteer projects that will benefit their own community. We hope that this program will create both a lasting partnership between the Comm and local students and also foster a strong sense of philanthropy that will develop as the students mature into adults.
