The mission of the Waverly
Community House
is to enhance the lives of individuals and families in the
region
by fostering educational, recreational, and cultural
opportunities.
We have been fulfilling this mission for 90 years.
Please join us in ensuring that the Comm will continue to be
a vibrant community center for decades to come.

GIFTS OF CASH
A gift of cash is the most common form of charitable giving. An outright gift to
the Community House qualifies as a federal tax deduction for up to 50% of
adjusted income. It is considered made on the date it is mailed
or hand delivered. It must be made or mailed by December 31 to
qualify for tax deductibility for the Calendar Year PLANNED
GIVING Planned giving is a great way to
support the Comm. See your estate attorney or financial
advisor, or call Development Director Vera Krewsun at
586-8191 ext 3 for more information.
GIFT-MATCHING PROGRAM If
your employer offers a gift-matching program, you can help
the Comm twice as much! Please talk to your human
coordinator for details.
MEMORIAL AND TRIBUTE GIFTS
It is customary for friends and family members to express sympathy through memorial giving as a meaningful way to offer consolation on the loss of a loved one. At other times, marking a special occasion such as an anniversary or birthday through a tribute gift may be appreciated more than a gift.
Memorial contributions and tributes are donated directly to the Comm's Endowment Fund to benefit programs and operations unless it is specifically designated as a contribution to the annual sustaining fund.
The Comm will formally notify the respective friend or family member of your gift and it will be noted in our monthly newsletter. The amount will remain confidential.
